Terms of use
Last updated 12 October 2026
These terms are between you and Waseela, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("we"). By using Waseela you agree to them. Questions:privacy@mywaseela.com.
What Waseela is
Waseela is a tool for recording money between people: loans, shared bills, repayments, collections and committees. It is not a bank, a wallet, a payment service, a lender or a financial adviser. Waseela never holds, moves or sends money, and it doesn't charge, calculate or collect interest. Money changes hands between you and other people, outside Waseela.
Your records
- Records are what you and the people in them say happened. We don't check them, and they aren't proof of a debt. Keep them accurate, and fix or remove anything that's wrong.
- Committees and collections in Waseela are records of what the people in them agreed. We don't run, organise or guarantee them.
- Suggestions from chat and voice (when available) can be wrong. Nothing is saved until you check and confirm it.
Your account
- You must be 18 or over, and use your own phone number.
- Keep your phone and sign-in codes to yourself: anyone with them can use your account.
- You can download your data or delete your account at any time in the app (see theprivacy policy).
Fair use
Don't use Waseela to:
- record things you know are false, or harass, threaten or shame anyone;
- break the law, or help anyone else break it;
- add people's details you have no reason to have;
- interfere with Waseela, or access it in ways other than through the app and this site.
If someone breaks these terms, we may limit or suspend their account. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell them why.
The service
Waseela is free to use for now. We work to keep it available and your records safe, but we provide it "as is", without warranties, and it may sometimes be unavailable or change. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from your use of Waseela, including disagreements between you and other people about money. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that can't be limited.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; if a change matters, we'll tell you in the app first. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, except where the law of the country you live in says otherwise.
